 super excited there is finally a BC cup happening in whistler, but the choice of trail for a provincial championship race seems odd, certainly a full run down canadian open would be the riders favorite. yes its a difficult trail but there have been other courses with sections just as gnarly/gnarlier. please listen to the wants of riders to have more true DH tracks on the circuit (kicking horse and the ex-mount washington race are great examplesof fast steep and gnarly. that all being said i still enjoy the trails selected, i just feel that most riders will be feeling the same as me.

 Joyride to Schleyer at the rock garden Cross Old Oly Road Down Lower Whistler DH Hard right onto Detroit Rock City Cross Heart of Darkness and the Mountain Road Across the top of the boneyard Into Monkey Hands. Finishing just as Monkey Hands exits into the boneyard above the GLC drops

 What about Clown shoes? is that a mistake? And is it just the rock roll at the end of detroit rock city?

 Hard right into Detroit rock city right after the big fade away on lower whistler downhill. Right after you pass by Dwayne Johnson.

 And then I believe you ride the Canadian open track all the way till joyride and schleyer come really close at the rock garden where you cross over and ride the lower part of schleyer where you go under the chairlift off the small rock drop

 That's wrong those lower trails don't link up. It's Detroit boneyard and monkey hands.

 Sounds like a rad track, one of my favorited link togethers on the lower mountain, classic!

 Does anyone know how many laps are in the XC for each age group?

 I got this from the race organizers;

"we are waiting on the commisaires for this. what we do know is that the U13/U11 will race for 45-60 mins. The U19/U17 and U15 will race for 1-1.15 hours, The Elite and Masters will race for 1:30-1:45 hours."
