Specialized Epic Expert XLNT COND Brain Warranty

$5200 USD
First lets talk about the elephant in the room: the brain. It works like new. No issues what-so-ever. Also, 2021 is the new and improved brain, and I am a believer that it is in fact new and improved since it has only worked flawlessly since purchase. I have included an image of the warranty language. The 2 year brain warranty is transferrable. The original purchase date is Sept 2020. Receipt is included and an image of it is posted. So, there's still 10 months left on the warranty. Per the recommended service intervals, I took it to the Specialized brick-and-mortar store in Costa Mesa for inspection. I have included an image of an e-mail I sent to Specialized informing them of this. So, if / when you take it to have it inspected / serviced, you will have a complete record of the original purchase and the interim inspection at a Specialized dealer with the name of the mechanic mentioned. Per that mechanic, the brain was working fine and there was no need to service it. In fact the brain is still working like new. Now that we've gotten that out of the way, let's get to the rest: I'm an accountant, so I kept a careful spreadsheet log of the hours. It has a total of 180 hours, but 110 of those hours were on a TacX Neo 2T trainer. I have attached snapshots of the log. The full spreadsheet has more detail. Also, I can provide Strava support to show that most of it was Trainer hours. In other words, only 70 hours have been spent outdoors. Those were low impact, easy-going cross country trail hours. No big drops or hard sprints for me. And of course no races. I also have an image of the bike on the trainer in my living room that I can provide upon request. The bike is in excellent condition if you consider excellent to mean only minor blemishes. As far as the frame itself there are ZERO -yes, ZERO- blemishes. There is not one single scratch, dent, ding or what-have-you on the frame itself. The fork has a small knick as shown in the image. This was caused by the allen key rubbing up against it when I was unscrewing the thru axle. After that I used a Park Took allen key with a longer reach and the problem was solved. It is a cosmetic blemish. No functionality issues. The chain was always replaced at the .5 mark on the chain checker, which was checked often. The .5 mark instead of .75 is recommended for 12 speeds. So, it has gone through 3 chains. The current chain probably has at most 10-20 hours. But, I am including a new, still-in-the-packaging SRAM Eagle chain with this sale. A separate cassette was used for the bike trainer. So, the original GX cassette has only seen 70 hours with frequent chain replacements, meaning the cassette is still in excellent condition. The XO mech still works flawlessly. All shifting is smooth and flawless. Again: the suspension is working perfectly. No issues with the brain rear and fork suspension. New brake pads. Brakes works perfectly. Smooth braking with no rubbing issues, so the rotors are in excellent condition. Some scratches on the non-drive side outer edge of the GX crank arm as shown in the photo. 95% tread on the original FastTrak Gripton tires. The wheels have been converted tubeless. But, it's been about 6 months since I refreshed the sealant. If you want me to refresh it before shipping I will try but I might not have time. The only sign of actual wear and tear is the grips as shown in the image. The only thing I don't like about this bike is that the grommet keeps popping out of the frame. But this is common to Epics so I've been told. Here is what Specialized told me to do about it: "Order a hard plastic version replacement from Amazon. Because it's hard plastic instead of soft plastic, you can wrap a layer of tape around it. That makes it possible to jam it into the slot real tight so it won't pop out." I never got around to doing that as shown in the image. It is not a defect, and nothing was damaged. It's just the way the bike came. Shipping: Item will be shipped via Bike Flights, which I have used before. We can work out the cost once you provide a location. I will probably charge shipping cost + $25 materials. Since Bike Flights is usually $50 anywhere in the US, I can expect total shipping to be around $75. I have always followed the exact shipping instructions for packing a bicycle as shown on the Bike Flights website. But if you have specific instructions then I will consider that. Also as you can see in the image this is priced below Blue Book even for a "Good" condition bike when in all respects this is an "Excellent" condition bike. In looking at Pros Closet bikes a bike in this condition would be rated as "Like New." It has only minor cosmetic blemishes, none of which are on the frame itself, and has 100% functionality with original transferrable warranty from the manufacturer. Also again I am including a new-in-the-packaging chain even though the current chain still halfway between .25 and .5 on the chain checker. As you can see from my profile, I've been selling bikes on Pink Bike since 2014. The buyers always say if it was possible to leave feedback they would leave me the best possible feedback. I also have an Ebay account with 100% positive feedback and bike sales in the feedback history: https://www.ebay.com/usr/ekonofox I am selling this bike because I got a proper road bike for the Tacx Neo 2T, and with winter ahead I'd be spending less hours outdoors. It makes little sense for me to have this bike collecting dust in the garage until Spring. And of course let me know if you have any questions.

Outer flange for the front skewer. Purely cosmetic. Skewer is straight, rigid, and works flawlessly.

Trek Superfly 9 FS

$500 USD
Rides and shifts perfectly. New XT cassette, chain rings, and chain. 90% tire tread. New rotors. Shocks work perfect. It's been in storage for 2 years and the shocks were still at their normal psi. That's an after-market saddle, but the original saddle is available. Asking only $500 because.... The rear rim has a dent as shown in the photo. It does not affect the seating of the tire bead into the rim. That dent was put there when I first bought the bike in 2015 and was never a problem. Always rode tubeless. I just put new sealant in both tires and swapped out the valve cores and stems for new ones too. So, it is a tubeless set-up that will hold up under all conditions no problem. Also, the dent does not keep the wheel from proper truing. I've had it trued at Jax Bicycles without issue. There is a divot in the rear triangle from brake cable rub as shown in the photo. When I first noticed it, I put industrial Velcro over it and that stopped it where it is now. The front shock remote lock-out trigger doesn't work. The shock is permanently unlocked unless you can figure out how to fix the trigger. Again, the shock works perfect. So much for lock-out, though. The outer flange for the front skewer has a slight warping on the very end. It is purely cosmetic, however. The skewer is perfectly straight, rigid, and slips into the front fork without issue. Photo included. Never had any problems. Numerous scratches here and there. I rode it obsessively between 2015 and 2017. It has seen a number of races too. Stopped cycling due to work. Been in storage since then. But still rides and shifts great. Original paperwork. https://archive.trekbikes.com/us/en/2014/Trek/superfly_fs_9#/us/en/2014/Trek/superfly_fs_9/details
