This bike is a 24”street specific steel frame. The geometry is based around the old 24” Ns Suburban and is especially designed to be used with short travel (60-100mm) or preferably rigid forks.

The frame has a very short back end ranging from 365-381mm depending on positioning on the rear wheel within the horizontal drop outs.

The BB (bottom bracket) is a threaded euro bb making it possible to run Mtb or Bmx cranks on the bike. The sparks’ BB sits nice and high making it comfortable and affective with standard 175mm cranks.

The head angle on the frame is nice and steep making the bike really easy to handle and great for front wheel tricks.

I can vouch that this frame is seriously stiff and I have not experienced any flex or stress as should be expected from a lightweight steel frame.

I have fitted this frame with DMR’s Trailblade 2 fork with the 20mm colt through hub for extra strength and rigidity also complementing the ideal angles and geometry of the bike.

This runs through a set of well-kept wheels, running on 2006/2006 trail pimp wheel set arguably considered as the toughest rims money could buy at the time. The rear wheel runs on a blue HOPE Pro2 trials hub with female bolt fitting. The front hub is a black DMR shotgun hub, laced up with double butted DT Swiss spokes with titanium spoke nipples in a 4 cross spoke pattern adding extra strength.

The rear brake is run with a right hand leaver through my own personal specification as I found it more comfortable to feather and modulate. The lever adjustments both in reach and pad contact on the leaver make it easy to adjust to personal preference and been fitted this with a long goodridge hose to ensure good braking response whilst sustaining the ability to barspin and tailwhip.

The bike feels nice and light, whilst remaining very stiff, strong and reliabile. I am only selling my bikes due to recent injury which requiring surgery putting me out the sport for a while.
