If you're wanting a disk brake on the rear of your bike and don't want to pay for a welded disk mount, the other option is a A2Z Components DM-UNI disc brake adapter.
This is a relatively low cost item that is simple in it's engineering. It will not work with every bike, only with bikes that had large flat dropouts.
Many aluminum frames have this, maybe yours is one...I tried to make this work with a steel hardtail, no go so the savings are yours...
