2012 Cove STD

Selling my 2009 Cove STD in medium ( i'm 5'10" ) This bike is my pride and joy, the bike is coming up for four years old, but due to a snowboarding injury it was NOT used during 2012/13 and only used FOUR times in 2011. My shoulder injury will not be repaired for at least another year hence the bike's regretable sale. It has been regularly serviced by Steve Deas at i-cycles in Innerleithen.

· Cove STD medium frame with Fox DHX 5.0 shock with a 350 x 2.80 spring. · Marzocchi 66 RC3 fork which have been custom tuned by Elliot at i-cycles an ex-Marzocchi mechanic with upgraded spring lowers to ride like 888’s. They look very good with the black stanchions · Bespoke wheel set - Mavic EX823 rims on white and red DT Swiss EX1750 hubs, 20mm front axle and 15mm/150mm rear maxle with silver DT spokes and running on 2.5 Maxxis Minion F/F tubeless tyres. These are an ex pro rider's spare wheel set, the white, red and black hubs match and compliment the colour scheme of the Forks. · Full Shimano Saint groupset, brakes/gears on a 34t front,11-28 XT rear. Hope rotors, 203/180mm · Race Face Atlas freeride cranks + bb (brand new bb) · SDG LG+ chainguide · Chris King 1.5 headset · Raceface Atlas Freeride bars cut to 760mm on ODI Ruffians grips · Straitline 50mm stem · Straitline flat pedals · SDG I-BEAM seat/post. The bike has the usual scuffs and marks expected from a downhill rig - the left hand brake lever is very slightly twisted. I am confident to say that it is an amazing condition considering it’s age. The bike was originally worth £5000 but this was without the pro wheel set and customised front forks. At this juncture I'm saying collection only and cash on collection would be ideal. We are 3 minutes from junction 16 of the A74M ie 30 miles north of Carlisle and 60 miles south of Glasgow / Edinburgh. We are quite literally half way between Ae and Innerleithen !
