2011 Whyte 146 Works Large - Upgraded!

Here I have for sale my Whyte 146 Works Carbon Fibre in Large. This is a great opportunity to pick up this bike which top spec for less than the price of the entry level "S" version.

The frame and forks are in absolutely mint condition - apart from a few very minor blemishes you could not tell these from new (and they are both less than two months old!). The drivetrain is also in mint condition. The bike is currently 1 x 10 although I can supply the bike 2 x 10 if desired. Personally I feel that the bike climbs well enough that the granny ring isn't really needed. With a 36t chainring (37t supplied) it works out that you only lose two easier gears vs. 2 x 10.

There are some scuffs and scrapes to the wheels and cranks from rock strikes and these should be visible in the photos. The saddle pictured is a little tatty so I will supply this bike with a brand new WTB Silverado saddle.

This bike handles far better than any other that I have ridden. I find myself nailing climbs that leave my riding buddies pushing (partly thanks to the Talas fork) and riding descents with the confidence of riding a DH bike. I love the 146 so much that this is my second one (I had the 2011/12 then upgraded to this). I'm only selling as I fancy trying something with bigger wheels.

I have upgraded both the rear shock and forks to the top end Kashima coated versions. The shock is an RP23 Kashima coat and the forks are Fox 34 TALAS, FIT damper CTD Adjust.
