2010 Specialized Demo 8 Large – Includes RC4 & CCDB!

2010 Specialized Demo 8: Size Large, Custom Build. Owned by former bike mechanic. Frame is only ONE YEAR OLD (Received from Specialized last year as a warranty frame). Frame/shock has only one year of riding on it primarily at Winter Park (which is to say, on pretty mellow trails). No crash damage or dents – the only cosmetic damage is due to shuttling and some heel rub on the non-drive chainstay, as well as a couple paint chips at the bottom bracket from small rock kick-ups. Bearings are 100% smooth. Selling because I need cash to fund winter toys.

Frame: 2010 Specialized Demo 8 Large (NOTE: This is the frame year that first incorporated the geometry changes requested by Sam Hill and Brendan Fairclough. Nice low BB and slack head angle. It friggin' rips.)
Shock 1: Fox DHX RC4, 550-pound spring (I weigh 185 pounds, and it's perfect without any preload)
Shock 2: Cane Creek Double Barrel, 550-pound spring. Bought this and then never put it on because I liked the RC4 so much. Don't have the hardware for this shock, however.
Fork: Rockshox Boxxer World Cup (Custom). Custom-valved for slightly firmer compression to perfectly match rear RC4. Red lowers with white crowns.
Brakes: Avid Code Magnesiums, 203 mm rotors.
Drivetrain: Sram X.0 rear derailleur, Sram X.9 zero-loss shifter, Sram 9-speed cassette
Cranks: Gravity Lites with 36-tooth red e.13 guide ring.
Chainguide: MRP G2
Pedals: Atomlab Trail Kings
Headset: Cane Creek Integrated 1.5 to 1.125 reducer
Stem/Bar: Funn direct-mount stem with Truvativ Hussefelt bar. Will swap for pictured Renthal Integra stem and Smac Innovations 820mm bar for additional $100.
Grips: ODI Peaty Lock-Ons
Front Wheel: WTB LaserDisc Hub on Mavic 325
Rear Wheel: DT Swiss 340 Hub on Mavic 729
