2008 Mongoose EC-D Large.

For sale is my Mongoose EC-D Downhill Bike, Its the 2008 Model and in a Large size. The bike is in good condition, its always been looked after. few minor marks and scratches from general usage, but nothing serious. Bike would serve as a great beginner bike or someone who's on a budget.

Spec as Follows:

Frame:
2008 Mongoose EC-D in Large,in a polished finish. recently replaced lower bearings and regreased upper ones. spare lower bearings will be included. All smooth and no play in the linkage system.

Suspension:
Forks: 2002 Marzocchi Shivers 190mm recently recently new oils placed socks on stanchions to protect them. Soft springs installed, Medium ones included.
Rear Shock: Fox DHX 5.0 serviced by Mholland servicing, fresh and plush. Progressive suspension Ti spring with weight of 325lbs
Bushings: Angled bushings included to slacken headangle and lengthen wheelbase. 1.5 degress each bushing. 3 degress in total.

Wheels:
Front: Hope Pro 2 (black) 20mm on a Mavic Ex721 36H. Straight and true
Rear Hope Pro 2 (black) 150mm x 12mm on Ex 721 36H. Straight and true. Hub is quiet.

Tyres:
Front: Maxxis High Roller 2.5 42A (Loads of life left!)
Rear: Maxxis High Roller 2.5 60A
Will throw in 2 Maxxis Wetscreams 2.5 (42a), still got a a few rides left in them.

Brakes
Front: Hope M6 braided hose 100% works but could do with a re-bleeding by someone who knows what they are doing. With 203mm red Hope floating rotor
Rear: Hope M6 braided hose recently serviced by Hope tech, brand new fluid and pads and pistons etc. with 203mm red Hope floating rotor

Controls:
Grips: ODI Rogue grips
Handlebars: Sunline V1 uncut 745mm. (love these bars!)
Stem: Answer Minus One integrated stem , its mounted using nuts and bolts to the shiver top crown.
Seat: Selle italia XO (bit tatty at back)
Seatpost: Thompson 31.6mm (some scratches)

Drive train:
Derailleur: Sram X7 rear mech. (still strong grabs every gear)
Shifter: Sram x7 shifter.
Chain: Sram
Chainring: Truvativ 38T chainring
Chain Device: Mr Dirt Gizmo sprayed black (this is an old school device, has never dropped a chain on me. ever.
Bashring: MRP Fusion
Cranks: Raceface Evolve DH cranks
BB- Raceface ISIS bottombracket. bought second hand with a bit of play. have run it for years no problem for me, one of the cups is a Truvativ cup instead of Racface, Theres no problem in removal and works fine, just need to a 2 different tool heads to remove.
Pedals: DMR V12 in silver. no play, good condition.

Sorry to see it go, but has to due to lack of use and injury. Based in Tadworth in North Surrey/ South London, 10 minutes from Junction 8 M25.
