Nuke Proof Generator Rear Wheel 26"

I bought this wheel from Tredz Cycles in Swansea on a MTB trip. I left a crucial part for my wheel at home and rather than be without a DH bike for the week I bought this wheel. It was ridden on no more than 4 times on the trip as when i got home my old wheel went back on. It is immaculate apart from a very small scratch next to one of the stickers. If you would like it shipped you will have to organise this yourself.

The Nukeproof Generator DH factory wheelset is a robust set of hoops designed for DH racing and intended for hard-hitting riders who want performance without the weight penalty.

Featuring 32-hole Nukeproof Generator hubs cold-forged from 7075-series aluminium and plain-gauge DT Swiss spokes.

Nukeproof Generator hubs are essential components for any high-grade wheelset, providing smooth and long-lasting bearing performance, a light weight that belies their ability to take hard knocks and enough axle options to satisfy every riding discipline and every rider.

A tough but lightweight 7075-series aluminium main hub body features cold- forged construction for optimum strength and fatigue resistance while extensive CNC machining shaves excess weight without compromising structural integrity.

The hub features a total of six sealed cartridge bearings: two on the drive side to help spread the loads of pedalling forces through the hub, two on the non-drive side and a further two in the freehub body.

A low friction seal between the bearings and freehub body eliminates contamination of the bearings from ingress of water and dust.

Six pawls with leaf springs are located in the main hub body for ease of maintenance and engage into a 30-tooth steel ratchet in the alloy freehub body for additional strength and increased leverage ratio, which provides positive engagement and super fast pick up for increased acceleration.

The alloy cassette carrier (steel on short-cassette option) has been cold forged with extensive CNC machining to exacting tolerances and features a hard anodized finish for durability and strength.

The Generator DH rim is based on the proven Sun Ringlé MTX rims, the 32-hole Generator is welded for strength and features a 29mm rim width for Freeride and Downhill riding.
