2010 Intense Tracer VP Used but well cared for. MED

2010 Intense Tracer VP 26" Frame. Rare works blue color. Comes with either (Like new vivid coil shock with 350lb spring...used twice and all bumpers are included), OR no shock (subtract $200) if you have your own but I can include the shock spacers for fox and rockshox.

I'm the original owner and have ridden here in Colorado for the last 2-3 years. Although I've ridden fast, I've never abused the frame. Largest drop I've done is about 2 feet. Lots of rocks and branches kick up and mar the frame as expected, but the frame is in structurally sound and the bearings have been greased and are really smooth. One small dent along the down tube just in front of the bb. And most of the scratches are along the chain stay...seen in the last three pics. I carefully checked all the welds for cracks and could not find any.

Note this is NOT the 2009 version that had the thin chainstays that cracked often. Intense remedied this with thicker welds in the 2010 models.

A little about the frame...VERY versatile frame....1.5 head tube could use either 1.5, tapered, or 1.25 fork. The travel could either be a light xc 140mm bike, or a 150mm AM build. Very different feel to both settings. I used both while riding in very different ways...very fun. The VPP suspension has excellent small bump compliance and soaks up the hits just fine. Only reason I'm selling is that I bought another Intense frame and can't keep both.

Sizing: I'm 5'9" and felt comfortable on it...maybe on the upper end, but would def recommend this for 5'10" - 5'7"

Stats: 1.5" Headset, 135" qr rear drop outs, 31.6mm seat tube, Shock (7.875x2.25"), and is adjustable from 5.5" to 6" with an allen key. 150mm-160mm fork recommended.

INCLUDED:
1.5" Cane creek REDUCER Headset..can run tapered or 1 1/8, cane creek Crown race for 1 1/8" fork, XTR outboard bottom bracket, qr seat clamp, 1 extra derailleur hanger, and some cable housing for the front der since its not continuous....all the stuff to get this going immediately. A bonus....a seat dropper zip tie guide along the top tube ;)

Here's another option....If you want no shock ($480) I have a 2012-2013 Rockshox Monarch rt3 that needs a rebuild i can throw in for $35...just send it to Push or suspension experts and you've got a killer bike. The monarch shock is structurally sound and all the seals are fine. I accidentally cycled it without enough air and somehow air leaked in the ifp champer and it makes a swishing sound. Just need to get the air out and maybe u can do it yourself. But the shock isn't broken or anything....just needs that service and I've been too busy to fix it.
