Based around Cube's FSP link 4-bar suspension platform, the AMS 100 is designed for classic XC riding and boasts a superlight triple butted and hydroformed aluminium frame with sized tuned kinematic technology to ensure positive handling. 100mm of rear wheel travel is matched with a Rockshox Reba RL fork to produce a bike that's perfectly suited to fast paced riding on natural trails for extended periods, whilst front and rear lockouts allow the bike to climb with ease.
FSP 4-Link
The holy grail of mountain bike suspension is to attain continuously active and fully usable travel where the rear triangle is not affected by pedalling (bob) or braking (jack) forces, whilst there are many ways to achieve this, Cube employ a four pivot chain stay construction they dub FSP. Here, the rear pivot is located between the dropout and the chain stay; ensuring that braking does not have a negative effect on the movement of the rear wheel.

Size Tuned Kinematic
Developed exclusively by Cube for their 4 pivot suspension design, the Size Tuned Kinematic technology guarantees that every frame in every size will have exactly the same dynamic properties by developing specific linkages for each frame size and using 3D cold forging technology to ensure even the largest frame is as torsionally stiff as the smallest.

High Performance Aluminium
Cube uses high performance 7005 aluminium (HPA) which is triple butted, hydroformed and heat treated to produce a frame that has a very low density yet high strength. The hydroforming process (using liquids at exceptionally high pressure to shape the tube against a mould) allows the aluminium to be manipulated to exacting tolerences and create a visual appeal without compromising performance.
About Cube
Cube are a brand that have been experiencing continuous growth since their inception in 1993; with expansion work at their HQ and production facility in Waldershof, Germany having been ongoing constantly for 16 years, with Cube even purchasing their own construction company to reduce the costs associated with a 6 fold increase in size, German efficiency at it's finest.

Attributing their success to a mix of innovation, premium quality materials, state of the art technology and a Teutonic obsession with product testing, Cube take a highly technical approach to building bicycles, with each model being designed and tuned using CAD software before being transferred into aluminium, carbon fibre or titanium for extensive ride testing.
