2002 Folding Riese and Muller Birdy bike.

For sale here is a quite unique machine.....A folding Riese and Muller Birdy bike. If I'm not mistaken, Birdy are the continent's - specifically, Germany's - answer to the ever-loved Brompton. The one in question is of the "mk1" era so was produced around early to mid noughties. The bike is in a good, rideable condition and has had only minor work done to it; namely: a rear mudguard repair, lubrication of cables and a good clean-up. The only thing to note is the little shred of material that's come away from the front of the seat. Everything else is in working order and the frame is structurally sound. I've stuck Medium as the size as they're designed, if I'm not mistaken, on a one size fits all basis

Shimano deore, Gripshift 7 speed transmission
Tektro brakes

I'm willing to consider all offers and would ideally prefer a cash/collection affair but will post nationally. Can deliver to folks in Manchester and generally most places in the north-west of England. It requires parting with a 4-figure sum to get one of the above new so grab a bargain here.
