This is a BRAND NEW 2015 Diamonback Recoil. Never been used. I took it to the Path Bike Shop (which is literally across the street) box and all to have it built. I'm selling it because I had ordered a road bike from amazon and they mistakenly sent me this bike instead. I tried to return it but they refused to pay me back the bike build fee I paid so I'm selling it instead. $700 OBO. Ill consider trades for even valued road bikes as only.

As its name implies, the Diamondback Recoil is poised to deliver a springy reaction to a diversity of terrain. Full-suspension design and 29" wheel size produce a bike that can take a beating and keep bouncing back for more. The Recoil is a great bike for those just getting to know the ways of the trail or those who are looking for an entry level full suspension rig. It was built with a solid platform in mind and is fully upgradeable should you so choose to step up your component package to the next level.

The foundation for the Recoil Comp is firmly laid with an all-new 6061 T-6 Aluminum Trail frame sporting 4" of travel via the Kindshock rear shock. The frame uses a machine formed top tube and a butted and formed down tube; the same technology found on Diamondback's Sortie series. It uses a sealed cartridge bearing pivot and is built around an optimized single pivot design--the simplest type of rear suspension with fewer moving parts. It consists of a pivot just above the bottom bracket, slightly up on the down tube and a single swingarm to the rear axle. Being that the rear triangle directly attaches to the rear shock, the shock has a more linear spring rate and offers good small bump compliance. The Recoil features the Kindshock Coil rear shock to compliment the SR Suntour XCT 100mm fork.

The Recoil comes stocked with an excellent mix of rock-solid componentry. The Shimano Altus SL-M310 Rapidfire 8-speed shifters control a Shimano Altus front and an Acera M360 rear derailleur. The HG31 8-spd Cassette (11-32t), combined with the SR Suntour XCC T202 crankset ( 22/32/42t), present 24 mountain crushing gear combinations to choose from. The Tektro Aires mechanical disc brakes provide all of the breaking power needed and the 32h Diamondback SL-7 Doublewall wheelset provides a tough and stable platform for your bike to roll over whatever dares to get in your path. Diamondback's signature alloy AL6061 Ahead stem and SL318b handlebar create the perfect cockpit while the SL309p Alloy Micro Adjust 30.9mm post and DB Race saddle ensure that you stay comfortable enough to pedal for miles upon miles.
