2012 ANOTHER PRICE DROP Medium Giant XTC Carbon cross country rac

MAKE OFFER, IM WILLING TO DEAL! This bike has very little time on it, somewhere around 20 hours and is in excellent condition. I'd like to sell the entire bike but if there are components you don't care for I'd be willing to work out a reduced price and I'll sell those components separately. From memory I believe it weighs in with pedals at around 21 pounds.

2012 Medium XTC carbon frame purchased new, very similar to the feel of steel (a lot of vertical compliance) yet laterally stiff. Frame weighs in at around 2.9 lbs. with headset. Shelter tape applied on downtube before ever ridden. Frame has a lifetime warranty against breakage. Warranty card will be included in sale.

2012 Rockshox XX World Cup fork purchased new, carbon crown and tapered steerer, 15mm thru axle, dual air positive and negative spring adjustable, weighs 3.3 lbs.

Sram XX crankset, 26/39. The rings are perfect, the arms do show some scuff marks from shoe rub but structurally sound. These came off another bike I have and have more time on them than all the other components.

XX front derailleur.

XTR mid cage rapid rise (low normal) rear derailleur. Why go with rapid rise? You'll never break a chain, do some research on this and you'll see what I'm talking about.

13-39 XTR/Action Tec cassette, custom 39 tooth heat treated titanium cog. When SRAM came out with their XX 2x this was the way around the ridiculous price for their proprietary cassettes. This system works flawlessly, the XTR cogset is titanium for the four or five big cogs, the others are steel. The original 11 tooth cog was replaced with a 13 tooth Miche last position cog. This setup gives you the range of the original XX 2x without the ridiculous price. The only difference is you lose a little bit of top end gearing, but I've never experienced a disadvantage with this in a race situation.

SRAM Rocket Shimano compatible twist shifters. Another advantage of using this with rapid rise (low normal) is you can downshift as many gears as you want WITHOUT pedaling. One the first pedal stroke you are in the right gear and away you go.

Specialized alloy race bars, 8 degree bend.
