ELECTRIC POWERED DJ BIKE

Hi,

I'm selling my custom electric dirt jumper bike. Not sure if its a morally correct to post it on Pinkbike, but here goes nothing. If you disprove of it, move along. This project is one of a kind, make no mistake, it differs a lot from other electric bikes out there. It has been assembled and maintained by a professional bike mechanic working in the bike industry.

It comes with a brushless electrical hub engine, generating 500 Watts at 48 Volts, with a Panasonic cell Li-Ion Polymer in a aluminum case, carrying 48V 24AH Panasonic Cell NCR18650PF battery, this bike can go at a steady 50km/h and run for 100km distance. (i weight 210lb and i get these values. It accelerates faster than my 50cc 4 stroke scooter)

Speed, Odometer, power output and left over battery are displayed on its LCD display mounted on the handlebar. Two keys (one on the battery and one on the throttle) ads security for unauthorized usage of the vehicle while owner not present.

The battery is strategically positioned on the top tube to give the bike a 50/50 weight distribution, which means that it handles like a dirt bike. But you can ride it on the road! without licence or insurance!

The bike itself has outdated top end trail components, still you are looking at a really good deal compared to the other ebikes out there.

Frame: 2009 NS Suburban, high end 4130 chromoly
Fork:Rock Shox Pike (travel adjust 90~140mm)
Crankset: Raceface DH Evolve 170mm
Front wheel: Mavic 321 DH 36mm rim with a 20mm cannondale hub
headset: A-head fully sealed bearing headset

Mode of operation: It has a grip throttle, like a scooter. Throttle and you go. its not an pedal assist, although it has a single speed setup, you don't need to pedal it. in case that you run out of juice outside, you can still pedal it back.
