I was using this fork until last season. I took it in to my local shop and they said the damper was bad and it was too expensive to replace. I looked a bit for a used damper then just bought a new fork. The talas mechanism is still working fine. It doesn't have seals. Stantions are good, some scratches on the lowers. Steer tube is 8 3/8" straight 1 1/8.
