2006 Specialized Big Hit

Really solid bike, no play in any of the bearings (BB, Frame, Hub, Headset) – I’ve maintained it well.
Sets up well for jumping, DH – even more pedally tracks. It’s stable to ride, great fun, and the kit on it is built to last rather than weight weenie! Weighs ~ 16.5/17 kg.
Ideal for a starter DH bike, although I rode it to 9th in Senior at Round 2 of the downhill series in Mallow, so it’s definitely no slouch.
Full disclosure, the non drive-side pedal crank has a very slight bend in it - almost unnoticeable, I rode the above race on it no problem at all.

2006 Big Hit frame size M (200mm Travel) – few paint chips and scratches, no dents. Bearings smooth, no play.
2007 Marzocchi Bomber 888 RC2X (200mm Travel) (High & Low Speed Compression, Rebound) Oil Changed before Christmas – 3 days of riding on it since.
Fox DHX 5.0 (222x70) with 450lb Spring (also a 600lb Spring) full working order. Fitted with heavy duty polymer bushings for longer life and lower friction.

Avid Elixir 5 Brakes (sintered rear & Kevlar front pads)
WTB Dual Duty Wheelset – Magic Mary rear, Intense 909 DH front (both set up tubeless)
