The Intense Tracer has been around for years, first in the form of the Tracer and then the Tracer 2. It just so happens that when it came time for another iteration of the legendary Tracer that 27.5” wheels were taking over the mountain bike scene – making it the perfect platform to introduce the new Tracer. This “Made in the USA” trail machine features Intense’s patented VPP suspension technology bringing smooth, reliable suspension to the all new Tracer 275. The 5 ½- 6” of adjustable travel allows this bike to adapt to your local trails – this bike is made to ride up, down, sideways, and everything in between. As with all Intense bikes, the Tracer 275 was designed with replaceable G1 dropouts to stay versatile with wheel options. The Intense Tracer 275 was built to eat up rocks and ruts, yet is nimble enough to safely navigate the twists and turns of the trail.
The Foundation build of the Tracer 275 aims to widen the reach of the Intense family. A SRAM S1000 triple crankset, SRAM PC-1031 10 speed chain, and Shimano HG62-10 cassette form the bones of the drivetrain and a combination of SRAM X7 and X9 components keeps shifting performance smooth and reliable. Avid DB-3 hydraulic disc brakes provide all the braking power needed to stop at a moment's notice. Sun Ringle Inferno 27 rims laced to Speed Tuned hubs keep you rolling fast and Kenda Negeval 2.35" tires offer substantial grip when cornering and climbing. An Intense branded, alloy cockpit puts the finishing touches on this stellar build for a ride that's ready to push the limits all day long.
