Roval Carbon Control 29 Wheelset

Great wheelset, super light, super stiff and super versatile.

I ran these for the last two seasons on my second bike so they have about one year's worth of use. They have been rock solid and everything you could want in an XC or light trail wheel. I upgraded the DT swiss star ratchets to the 36 tooth for faster engagement.

There are superficial scratches on the wheels. They are only cosmetic. No carbon has been harmed. The bearings are smooth. Everything is ready for whatever you can throw at it. The wheels are currently set up for a 15mm front hub and a 12x142 rear. I have the end pieces for all available configurations and can set them up how ever you want. They are set up right now with a SRAM XD (11 speed) driver but I can put a standard Shimano/SRAM 9/10 speed driver on if thats what you need.

Not all carbon wheelsets have to cost an arm and a leg. Using techniques learned while developing the Control SL 29’s, we’ve been able to produce a lightweight set of 29” XC wheels at a more attainable price point. The rims feature a zero bead hook design that allows for continuous fiber layup across the sidewall and rim bed resulting in stronger impact resistance.
