2009 MADE IN ITALY Hardly Used Marzocchi Bomber 66 MINT

It is a very nice condition Marzocchi Bomber 66 fork. This is the last model to be made in Italy (2009). It came off a bike that was last raced at Bromont in 2011 and hadn't been used since. The bike still had the 2011 race number sign on the bars, and the red mud from Bromont :)

Being the last model to be made in Italy (2009) this was a highly sought after fork. Still hard to find, especially in this condition. This fork retailed for over $1000.

The fork fits 26" tires and has a 1 1/8" non-tapered steerer tube. Steerer tube is a hair shorter than 220mm.

The stanchions are near perfect. The lowers have only a few scratches on one side only. I don't believe these were ever crashed. The original owner told me the bike had only been used a handful of times in 2010-2011, as a backup race bike only. The bike they came off confirmed that, with almost no marks on the frame at all. I've never ridden this fork, as I switched it out right after purchase and fully rebuilt the bike.
