2009 COMPLETE BIKE KHS Lucky 7 / Azonic B52 Frame+Parts

EDIT: Price Drop $400! *This bike is COMPLETE except for fork and brakes. I have a as new Marzocchi Bomber 66 fork that I'll sell for $200. Its been serviced by Marzocchi in Italy and hasn't been ridden since. Brand new black stickers are included.

For sale is a near new 2009 KHS Lucky 7 frame in Red AND LOTS OF EXTRAS. This frame was only ever used a few times as a backup DH race bike. It hadn't been ridden since 2011. I fully rebuilt it this summer with all new parts as my first DH bike, but the frame is slightly too small for me so I've decided to part it out. The bike originally sold for $3,000, but I've upgraded it with a near new black Boxxer RC2C Team fork, new white Avid Elixer 3 brakes, matching direct mount white SRAM X9 drivetrain, and new custom ordered, hand built white Transition Revolution 32 wheels with black DT Swiss hubs and spokes.

The frame has the Specialized patent FSR 4 bar Horst bearing linkage and pivots, which I believe is quite similar to the linkage used in the Transition TR450, Intense 951 Evo, Specialized Demo, YT Industries Tues, Santa Cruz Nomad, and other high end bikes. This bike was raced by KHS DH Team in 2009 and 2010. This model KHS Lucky 7 frame is also identical to the Azonic B52, as they came from the same manufacturer and were just bought and painted by both companies. The frame is totally worthy of the upgrades I've put into it, and more!.

I will sell the frame with lots of extras! Basically I'm only parting out the following to sell separately: 1). forks, 2). brakes/shifter/derailleur, and 3). wheels.

For $500 everything else will come with the frame!
And for an extra $300 I'll throw in the brand new $750 DH Pro Transition wheelset I'm also selling.

Some KHS Team members ran this frame with angle adjuster bushings, so the head angle can be slackened by 1 degree using this method. The Boxxer also slackens the head angle slightly..

I have two fork options, both listed in my other sales. A near new 2012 Boxxer RC2C Team in Black, and a White Marzocchi 66 Bomber (that came stock with the bike but I removed it to fit the Boxxer, so never rode it). Just like the frame, the 66 was only ridden for a handful of races in 2010 and 2011. I can give a deal if you want one of these forks with the frame.

I also have near new hand built (by Kent at Phat Moose Cycles Ottawa) white Transition Revolution 32 wheels, with black Sun Ringle Jumping Flea hubs, and DT Swiss Spokes. These cost over $700 + taxes, but I can give a deal if you want the frame and wheels. They are 20mm front, 150 x 12 axle rear, but there is a conversion kit for the front to fit 15mm (and a bunch of axle options for the rear).
