This is a Heavy Duty pairing. The front is Hope Evo 2 with Mavic EX 729. Big hitting front wheel this. The rear is the slightly smaller Mavic EX 721 on the ubiquitous Shimano 525, BUT I have just renewed the spindle, cones and ball bearings so it is really excellent shape. The front is 15mm through fork fitting and the rear is standard 10 x 135 qr. The rims have minor scratches and some marks but no dents or anything at all to affect performance. I bought these only recently on here from two great guys (thanks Toby and David, sorry to sell them so soon) and my idea was to use them on a Trance I was building. Even at that I think they are maybe a bit heavy duty for the Trance, maybe they'd suit a Reign better. Anyway the Trance has temporarily morphed into an Anthem and I've used them twice on the Anthem and they're not the best choice. Just too heavy for a really fast bike. They are meant mainly for extreme XC, ( hence the nomenclature EX729/721) and to take big downhill hits, and the Anthem is built for cross country speed. I think they were just the wrong wheel on that bike.
They've cost me £120 inc postage, so I'd like my money back on them as they are a great buy for the right bike and will give great service for years. Alan
