2015 BRAND NEW $2000 + $1800 in UPGRADES Jamis Xenith Race

PRICE DROP: $1500 FIRM! Brand new! I had an injury so it was never ridden! ! Paid $1799 + taxes for stock bike, ADDED + $1800 in upgrades + taxes. I bought this bike last summer and added brand new black 2015 Mavic Ksyrium wheels ($800), Shimano Ultegra 6800 brakes ($300), a new black Ritchey stem, gel drop bar pads, and black Lizard skins bar tape, new black Selle Italia seat. There are a bunch of other expensive bits and pieces throughout, such as black KCNC titanium skewers which cost me over $100. I'm a weight weenie to the core, and tried to get the weight of this down as much as possible!

Its about 17lbs as modified. I think it was around 19lbs with the shitty wheels it came with, and prior to my modifications.

In total I put over $4000 into the bike and unfortunately never even rode it more than around the block a few times to set it up.

Not a single scratch anywhere! All modifications were made in a pro-level cycling store in Toronto, and the bike is fully tuned up.

I also paid an additional $300 for a professional fitting, but that doesn't benefit the new buyer unless you're 5'10". :)

The specs, with the modification make this essentially the same as the Jamis Xenith. The frame is actually a 2012 Jamis Ventura Race, which was double the price of the current Ventura Race and Pro models, as it came with full Shimano 105 group set and Carbon rear stays/full Carbon fork with Carbon steerer tube. I bought it sealed in the box in 2014, had the brakes and wheels installed for the 2015 road season but then had an injury mountain biking this spring before I had ever even ridden it.

The geometry borrowed heavily from the Xenith. Its a killer race bike! It also was originally blue with all white parts, but I've switched out every bit of white for black. Looks amazing!

Frame: Jamis Ventura Race frame (blue) with Carbon rear mono stay
Matching Carbon fork with full Carbon steerer tube
(this is the best of both worlds, with dampening where needed but longterm stiffness of aluminum main triangle)
2015 Mavic Ksyrium Equipe S Wheelset (black)
Full Shimano 105 drivetrain (black), 10 x 2 shifters, front and rear derailleurs, sprocket, etc.
2015 Shimano Ultegra 6800 Brakes (dark grey)
KCNC black Titanium skewers.
I've got a few different brand new seat options, but the Bontrager race seat is the lightest and puts the overall weight at just under 17lbs :)

I'm really sorry to see this go! And sad that I'm losing close to $3000 of what I put into it, but I'm still recovering from a mountain bike injury and I just want this bike to go to a good home.
