2010 Santa Cruz V10.3

Santa Cruz V10.3 frame size large in black. This bike was or originally bought by a seasonaire in Whistler in May 2010. I purchased her in December 2010 as my first dh bike. She's been my faithful steed for 5 years now and I've ridden her all over the uk, the Alps and Canada.

The spec is as follows:

Frame: Santa Cruz V10 size large in black. This is one of the last aluminium frames to come off the production line before they moved to carbon. It has marks you would expect from use but there are not dents to the downturn. There is a slight scratch on the swing arm which has been there for a number of years and has never caused me any problems. New bearings were put in before my trip to the Alps in the summer and included in the sale are another set of bearings.
Shock: Fox DHX RC4 kashima coated with 550wt Spring. Brand new lower shock hardware just fitted
Forks: Rockshox boxxer RC 2015. Brand new cartridge and new oil in lowers. Medium Spring and 3 bottomless tokens fitted. Slight damage to the spring side stanchion but this hasn't caused problems up to now. The seals survived a week in the Alps
Wheels: DT Swiss 440 front hub on a FR600 rim with new bearings just fitted. Rear shimano zee hub on a Mavic EX729 rim. Wheels have a few small dents from general dh use but no major dents or cracks.
Brakes: Avid Elixir CR levels, Elixir CR front calliper and Elixir 1 rear calliper. Freshly bled with new pads front and back
Cranks: race face atlas with brand new Shimano BB. Brand new shimano zee 36t chain ring.
Chain device: e.thirteen
Gearing: SRAM X01 shifter and X01 rear mech. SRAM Dh cassette and brand new pc971 chain
Tyres: Maxxis minion DHR 65% tread remaining on the front, Maxxis high roller 40% tread remaining on the back.
Bars: Truvative Boobar - 780mm width, 20mm rise.
Stem: Easton - 50mm

Also included are a pair of Maxxis Swampthing tyres with 60% tread remaining, a spare lower link and a spare set of linkage bearings.

I've had a lot of fun riding this bike but it's time for her to find a new home. My reason for sale is that the reach is too short for me as I'm 6'3 so I've bought a new bike with a longer top tube. It's sizing would be suitable for anyone from 5'8 to 6'1.

Price now dropped from £950 to £900.
