Following a break in to my shed I need to sell a few things to rebuild!

It all starts with this, my Scalpel!

I bought it last year from new, made some changes almost straight away.
This bike is perfect for XC racing, i've had a lot of fun with it, but honestly I do not use it as often enough as i would like to.

The frame is full carbon, and hardly a scratch on it, theres a few small marks from use, but i couldn't really get them pictured. This has a 142x12 rear axle, and the bearings and linkage plates have been checked over in the past week, removed, re-greased and re-installed, they are in perfect condition. The frame has got fittings to take a steath dropper post if needs be!

Cannondales are notorious for their creaky bottom brackets!!! as the old bottom bracket was! I managed to eliminate this by installing a hope PF46 bottom bracket, so the chianset is still the original Sram with a removable spider, but it is a creak free bike!

Rear shock is a Rockshox Monarch RL, again working perfectly, holing air well, never had to service it.

The wheels are Mavic Crossmax SLR 29er's an £800 upgrade from the originals which failed within the first 2 weeks, the mavics have never been buckled or beaten, I had to tighten the spokes once, and have not touched them since.

The brakes are Hope X2's with 183mm rotor front and 160 rear, there are a few scratches on the levers from storage and transport but other than that they are perfect, hardly any wear on the rotors and will come with a spare pair of pads front and rear.

The fork is the original Lefty 100PBR, I got it seviced about 6 months ago and had the remote motion control fitted, again the lever has a few small marks on it.

The drive chain has a bit of a story behind it. The bike came with sram X7/X9 10spd mix, but i did not like it, I changed it to X0 9 speed with a raceface narrow wide, so it is now running 1x9, for an extra £200 I can fit brand new XT 11 speed (was going to be my future upgrade).

The chain and cassette are not worn, its currently using an XT 9 speed 11-34 cassette as the mavic freehub is soft alloy I wanted to destroy it as little as possible so i would imagine the freehub is still in good nick. (can double check and replace if needed)

Handlebars have also been changed to carbon easton monkeybars

Pedals on the bike in the pictures are just temporary pedals whilst i gave the bike a ride to make sure everything is working as it should. So the red platforms aren't included but i can provide some flats for you to test the bike in.

The frame size is 21" or XL 100mm travel front and rear..

Given I have spent over £4000 on this machine, I am asking £1500 ono for it..

Would prefer Collection from west london, but can post at cost!

I think that covers everything.. any questions please ask! My email is in my profile!

Cheers

Andre
