Hello all,
I have here a really cool 2005 Gary Fisher KingFisher single pivot downhill/Freeride bike. I've put quite a bit of money and work into this thing, I am the original owner. The powdercoat is like a grey matte metallic (original color was matte black), powdercoat does have one scratch on the right side downtube from a shuttle, but that's it. Custom decals were designed for the frame as well.
I have upgraded the bike with the following:
2009 Marzocchi 888 RC3 fork with a recent seal and bushing rebuild (I run 10 wt rock shox fork oil), Custom direct mount stem from newer 888
Manitou Metel rear shock (kinda low end, only rebound adjustable)
Has an Adjustable angle headset that is currently set to 1.5 degrees slack.
Race Face 38T Narrow/Wide chain ring, set up in a 1X9 drivetrain with a SRAM X7 Derailleur
WTB Dissent 2.5 front, Schwalbe Dirty Dan 2.3 rear tires.
I'll throw in a set of Answer high rise bars and Vans ODI lockon grips that I haven't yet had a chance to install.
I'm going to Afghanistan soon and I figure someone can get into downhill pretty cheap with this and get more use out of it that I can. It's been a fantastic bike for me and has been to every bike park in Colorado, Trestle, Keystone, Crested Butte, etc, and takes everything you can throw at it. This bike hangs with the newer $6000 bikes without a problem and I always get compliments on it. Completely bomb proof and unbreakable. is it the prettiest thing out there? no, but it's made far better than the Taiwan junk we get nowadays.
Call, text or email.
Thanks
Ryan
