2015 SRAM Roam 40 Wheelset

Set of SRAM Roam 40 wheels. They are 27.5/650b wheels which have never caused me a minutes problem. Seal up tubeless easily. Strong, light and look great.

A few very minor marks on the rims. No dents or dings and they are running completely true.

The bearings could do with a service, but wheels are good to go. The rear hub is has the XD driver attached.

The aluminium rims have been constructed with Taper Core technology which is the product of an extrusion process that allows SRAM to place more material where it's needed for durability. This results in a thinning of the remaining rim profile in order to optimize the balance of weight and strength. The sidewalls of the rims are reinforced along the wings to withstand major impact. The sidewalls then taper in along the center, reducing overall mass. The result is a very light rim with excellent dent resistance.
The Roam 40 wheels have been kitted out with the latest innovations from SRAM including Double Time hubs which deliver strong and swift engagement, while the durable Speedball bearings are precision machined to ensure a sharp and responsive ride.
