2017 Bike Mechanic Wanted

Busy co-operative is looking for a mechanic available between Tuesday and Saturday, 0930-1830. Hours may change depending on the season. We are a small co-operative offering bicycle repair services, repair and maintenance instruction, and used parts to the public. We are different from many other bike shops in that our service bay and public area are one and the same. This makes for an interesting work environment, as you may be fixing bikes, talking to customers, and helping people with bike repair in the same area. We have a dedicated clientele and a core group of volunteers who are the backbone of our co-op. You will meet many unique individuals and will be working on all sorts of wheeled conveyances, from your garden-variety Supercycle to extremely high-end road bikes and everything in between. We are located in the China Steps in downtown Nanaimo BC.
