2017 Medium Rocky Mountain Vertex 990 RSL.
This is Rocky's flagship XC race 29er hardtail.
Crisp, precise and very efficient - one push on the pedal and the bike basically leaps forward and snaps your neck back ! There is something so enticing about the efficiency of a 19 lb hardtail !
Incredible climbing traction, and rollover performance - the bike is aggressive and incredibly confident on all terrain including nasty technical downhills.
I really shopped hard this year for a no fuss bike with a Fox fork and an XTR drivetrain to provide exceptional performance, reliability and serviceability. All in a lightweight and affordable package.
