2015 Ibis Tranny 29 Medium

Great bike, replaced with a Ripley LS and have not ridden it much recently. Purchased new by me in 2016 from JensonUSA. Ibis no longer manufactures this model. This is a unique frame, as you're probably aware if you're looking at this ad. The removable rear triangle allows for chainstay length adjustment for easy and clean singlespeed conversion as well as running a gates belt drive. You can also remove the rear triangle for packing into a regular suitcase for traveling if you want. I've never had any creaking issues from the slot machine or bottom bracket area and the titanium hardware has always been properly torqued and prepped with the correct anti-seize. The bike is snappy and fun and I've used it for local asphalt/dirt rides around local trails. The weight of the bike is 22.5 lbs without pedals or bottle cages.

In the time I've had it I've made some upgrades:
full Shimano XT 1x11 drivetrain (1 year old, cranks 2 years old)
XT/SLX brakes (around 1 year old)
XT bottom bracket recently replaced
Stan's Crest Wheelset (around 2 years old)

You can use this as a primary bike, second bike, travel bike, XC racer, whatever you want. It's very versatile. Add some beefier tires and a dropper, many options.
