If your are drooling over that new sc Hightower, process, or similar mid travel trail style 29er but don't have the budget look hard at this. This frame was way ahead of its time in terms of geometry, check the charts if you are into that sort of thing. It isn't a xc lightweight but in typical Kona fashion is built strong and an excellent descender that can still climb good. I tested several bikes before building this one and it was by far the best 29er I could find in 2012.

This is no garage queen that is in immaculate condition. It has plenty of scrapes and bumps from being ridden all over the triangle and western NC. That being said it just had the frame bearings all replaced by a local shop and was given a clean bill of health and is ready to go as deep into pisgah as your legs can carry you. If you run the rebound near its highest setting the fork has a faint knock/creak in it but I had it checked out by a professional mechanic who also consulted with Fox and both determined it was nothing and told me to go ride it, not an issue when in middle to low setting. The shock was serviced just a few months back. The wheels have been hanging in the garage the last few years since I mostly ran a set of I9s so they are in great shape. Tires have tubes but their stans rims so converting to tubeless will be no problem.

Let's start the bidding at $1275 and the first one to $5000 takes it home! Ok, maybe $5k is a bit much but $1275 seems very fair for a modern build kit on a very solid bike to me, of course always open to offers if you don't agree. Buyer to pay shipping and PayPal fees.

If I missed anything just shout out your questions
