2015 X Fusion Trace RL2 140mm

For sale is a set of X Fusion Trace RL2 forks with 140mm travel. For those who aren't familiar with X Fusion these forks are very similar the new Rockshox Revelation, i.e. a 34mm stantion, reasonably aggressive 140mm platform. I've ridden these forks for a few months on my hardtail and they've felt great, very plush and have great mid-stroke support to avoid brake diving. They are air forks with adjustable rebound and a lockout. Cosmetically there are a couple of scratches from use on the lowers and crown, but the stantions are perfect.

Steerer - Tapered 1 1/5 to 1 1/8 (165mm long)
Wheel Size - 29"
Axle - 15mm (similar system to the Rockshox Maxle Lite)

Stantions - 34mm dia.

Now for the bad part... I've managed to blow the right leg damper upper assembly, hence the low asking price. These can either be used for spares as all 34mm stantion X-Fusion forks share internals, and the air shaft, all other internals, CSU and lowers are perfect; or they can be repaired and for not very much money you have yourself a bargain set of forks! The issue I have had with these forks is the same as described by users KRob and y0bailey in the following forum on page 3 - http://forums.mtbr.com/shocks-suspension/official-xfusion-rl2-fork-service-tuning-thread-910996-3.html. In both cases these users have been able to obtain just the damaged upper damper assembly for $35 directly from X Fusion and replace it themselves, as opposed to having to replace the entire damper. Alternatively you can upgrade the damaged damper to X Fusion's new Roughcut damper which will drop in to replace the broken damper. This will result in a fork comparable to a mid-high range Rockshox Pike for a fraction of the price. If I was a more patient person I'd have sorted this out myself and sold them as fully working, but I've replaced these with another set of forks as I needed the bike up and running.
