Canyon Strive CF 8.0

The bike has been heavily upgraded from the original spec and has just had a fork lowers service and complete rebuild of the rear shock. The frame has brand new enduro bearings fitted, a one ride old gx cassette and KMC chain. The 170 reverb is only 6 months old. The forks and wheels were upgraded about a year ago to a 170mm Lyriks (£680) and DT swiss XM481 rims (30mm internal) laced to silver hope pro 4s (£600 from JRA). It has the brand new Code R brakes which have had outstanding reviews are will stop you on a penny. 200mm front rotor and 180 rear rotor.

The bike is a large, I am 6'2 and it fits perfectly for me with a 35mm stem. The bike has been ridden and so there are the odd few marks here and there but no dents or gouges. Canyon are a direct sales company but there english headquarters are in Chessington and they will do any servicing or parts servicing you need so no need to worry about local backup. I decided to lock the bike into DH mode as I just didn't use the shapeshifter. I have kept all the parts for it and you would be welcome to refit the necessary cabling, it's pretty straightforward job and it will work fine. The shapeshifter piston is the updated version, it was only the very early models that were troublesome. Bike is in Guildford.
