Around the same time the original Hayes hydraulics came on the market they also tried these cable/hydraulic units.
I think most of these were thrown in the garbage years ago by frustrated bike mechanics. They are very difficult to get working well (if the cable tension isn't set just right the self adjustment won't work).
Functional but probably best suited for collector or vintage bike build at this point.
Rare! $50 for the pair.
Includes:
Genuine CNC'd Hayes adapters for 160mm rotors
Pads with plenty of material remaining
I may have one 160mm rotor (not pictured) which I will include for no extra charge if I can find it!
