ok this is a Thomson Masterpiece 30.9 seatpost cut to 235mm
there is a catch !!!!! I F'ed up and didnt realize how thin the walls are on the Masterpiece posts, and I squished it a little clamping it in my stand..LOL
The mark is low enough that if you keep your seat slammed on a DH bike, or even raise it up to where the Thomson name is still showing??
It will be fine, and you'll never see the damaged area, and all your friends with think you're badass with the Masterpice seatpost ;)
plus it only weighs 170grams
