2013 Nukeproof Mega AM Pro - Medium - Has a brand new frame through a warranty replacement.
Sheffield - 5 minutes from Junction 31 of the M1
£700.00

The story behind this - Late last summer I noticed a crack in my frame so contacted Nukeproof and after quite a few emails they sent my a brand new frame as a warranty replacement (all but the lower part of the rear triangle). It took quite a while to sort this out however so in the meantime I bought a new bike as I didn’t think it was going to get sorted (so now I have two bikes). Ive just built up the bike onto the new frame and its now ready for a new owner. The new frame hasn’t been ridden (apart from to make sure its running as I’ve built it back up) so obviously all of the frame bearings are prefect as they are brand new, the rear wheel bearings have just been replaced (also not ridden). There are some bad bits that I’ve listed below. *Please keep in mind that this as a 2013 bike and apart from what I’ve listed above is in a used condition with some issues. The buyer will be able to ride it from day 1 but please don’t think its in showroom condition. The dropper post doesn’t work (see below) and the gears aren’t perfect (see below).

Spec;
- Medium 2013 Nukeproof Mega AM Pro frame - Warranty replacement - Has a few small paint chips which is likely to be the reason its been sent as a warranty replacement frame rather than sent out as a new bike.
- 2013 BOS Deville forks (non TRC) - I believe these can be run as both 26” and 27.5” but I’ve never tried 27.5".
- 2014 RockShox Monarch Plus RC3 - JTECH tuned
- Easton Havoc 50mm Stem
- Easton Haven Carbon Bars (Few rides old)
- Hope Grips (worn)
- Uberbike Ceramic Headset
- Truvativ Descendant crankset
- Uberbike 32t Chainring (Hope 34t Chainring included if you want it)
- SRAM X0 Chainguide (Held together with tie wraps on the underside, doesn’t affect performance and isn’t obvious when looking at the bike, see photos)
- SRAM X0 10 speed Shifter
- SRAM X0 Type2 10 speed rear mech - Just fitted new Uberbike jockey wheels
- SRAM Guide R Brakes + SRAM Rotors (2017 with the bleeding edge technology, taken from my new bike and barely used, just put new pads in rear, will come with bleeding edge bleed adaptor)
- Front and rear tubeless

**BAD POINTS**
- Reverb Stealth Seatpost - ***Not working*** - The post was previously stiff to push down but I never did anything about it as it didn’t sag and never failed. When swapping the post from the old frame into the new one I had to detach and re attach the hose as its internally routed through the frame. Since doing this I can’t get the post to work. I guess as its was stiff before and has been sat for months its seized inside. It may be repairable however please accept it as completely broken to avoid disappointment. it can obviously still be dropped and raised manually and is long enough to set at a sufficient height for climbing. I have tried to reflect this in the asking price.
- Uberbike Cassette Expander Cog - This can cause slight issues as the rear mech isn’t really designed to work with such a high gear so requires a longer B screw to set the correct position. When in the work stand the rear mech can’t change from the expander cog to lower down the cassette, however when on the bike and peddling there are rarely any issues. once set in the perfect position it seems to work well which is why I have secured the B screw with a number of washers (See video of the gears working and see photo of rear mech).
- Superstar Nano Pedals - Quite new pedals and running perfectly as they have only covered approximately 150 miles, I just can’t get them off the cranks. I guess with the right tools (allen key and big bar) they will come off easy enough.
- DT Swiss E2000 wheel set - Front wheel has slight play and has done for over a years worth of riding without causing any issues. It locks into the forks solid but seems to move a bit on the bearings. The bike comes with a Nukeproof Generator front wheel as a spare which runs 100% solid (just doesn’t match the rear wheel). As the Nukeproof wheel runs solid with no play whatsoever i can garantee that the issue is with the front wheel rather than the forks.

- I will include all of my 26” tyres if you want them - Schwalbe Nobby Nick, Maxxis High Roller x2, Maxxis Minion DHF, WTB Trail Boss

I have tried to describe it the best I can and have been as honest as possible with the condition, I’ve probably undersold it but would rather do that so the buyer doesn’t feel like anything has been hidden. The bike can be ridden from day 1 and is unbelievable to ride. If you’re serious about buying it an are happy to leave the full £700.00 in my safe I will happily take you out for a ride so you can see the bike for yourself. Despite the issues you will struggle to get a bike this good as this price and I will be sad to see it go.

Any questions just ask ????

Cheers.
