Built this bike up to be my gravel grinder, P2A, and Stuporcross racer. If anyone knows about Stuporcross marathon races by Substance Projects, you know that these races are not setup for one particular type of bike to excel in. I’ve done these races on a fat bike, suffered on the road, on a cyclocross, suffered in the deep sand and rocky single track. So I set out to build the perfect bike to crush this race. I think I’ve done it. But now my herd is n+7. You married guys know what I’m going to say next so now it’s up for sale.

Bike weighs 19lbs without pedals

Bike has been lightly ridden. 277km’s on all parts according to Strava. Drivetrain and Fork has under 1000km. All other parts were brand new for the build (except saddle and rotors). Tires have 15km and BB is brand new 0km. Bike has been painstakingly built, maintained and babied. Not a single scratch or scuff on any part of the bike (except saddle…see details below).

Tideace is a Chinese Carbon Frame manufacturer. They are the actual manufacturer and they began selling direct in 2016, cutting out the Chinese Carbon re-sellers (such as XmiPlay, XM Carbonspeed, Velobuild, iCan, etc.). This frame meets and exceeds the European EN+20 and TUV safety tests (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9U-ocH-guk0). Great reviews of Tideace on MTBR and Chinertown forums, both for this specific frame, but even more so for the company and how responsive they are to emails and how good their English is.

I’m not desperate to sell, so price is relatively firm. I usually respond within the hour (if not minutes). No lowball offers please.

Frame: Tideace FM-M009, Medium/17” (fits on the large side of Medium), Toray T800 Fibres, UD Matte Black Finish, PF30 BB, 1000g frame, includes Tideace headset and seat collar, internal cable routing for everything

Geometry: Stack: 614mm, Reach: 418.1mm

Replaceable rear dropouts (QR and 142 TA). Currently set-up QR, but will include the 142TA rear dropouts, as well as the skewer. I may have an extra derailleur hanger in my parts box, but no guarantees.

Fork: Carbon Lauf fork gives about 2” on suspension and maintenance free. This is the over 140lbs version. Also included is a brand new carbon rigid fork.

Wheelset: Easton Haven, UST compatible wheelset (no tape required), new valve stems installed this spring

Tires: Maxxis Ikon 2.2, EXO/3C/TR (top of the line), setup Tubeless with Stans Sealant (Brand new, one 15km ride on them, Stans is Freshly cleaned out and re-filled last week)
