2018 Cotic BFe

I’ve recently built this up as a bullet proof winter bike to save my beloved Nicolai from the winter slop but due to having to downsize my housing, I can only keep one bike and the Nic isn’t going anywhere.

Solid, bulletproof build spec includes

Cotic BFE current generation ‘Longshot’ Frame in large, blue paint with orange accents to graphics. Lots of scuffs and marks from use as a mountain bike, no cracks or dents however. 142×12 rear axle, slack head angle, steel tubes, low seat tube, short chain-stays- you get the idea it handles everything you can throw at it and is much fun to ride.

Yari forks, currently set at 160mm travel but can be altered to anywhere between 120-180 travel by simply changing airshafts. Recently serviced so buttery smooth, no marks to the stantions, destickered. Torque caps fitted.

Wheelset- purple Hope Pro2 Evo hubs, bearings all in fine condition. Front rim is a wide (30+mm?) carbon item, a few scratches and marks from rock strikes, no cracks. Rear rim is a Stans Flow Mk3, 30mm interior width, a little wobble so could do with a true. Front tyre Maxxis DHF2, well used but still effective. Rear is a WTB TrailBoss, lots of life left and I will also include a very little used minion SS for the drier weather. Set up tubeless, recently replenished Stans fluid.

Shimano Zee 4 pot brakeset, 203mm front disc, 180mm rear. Good pads and I’m sure I have a brand new set that I can include as spares (if I can find them). Some marks to the levers from use, functioning very well and recently bled. Rear hose could do with shortening as they were previously fitted to a longer frame. I will either leave as they are or complete this job at the buyers discretion.

E-Thirteen TRS-r cranks with Hope Bottom bracket, 32t narrow-wide ring. Largely unmarked, some scuffs underneath the crank boots fitted too late. XT rear 10 speed clutch mech, SLX Ispec shifter, new outer/inners, smooth as smooth is. Shimano cassette with 42t superstar cog.

Hope bottom bracket, Hope headset, Hope seatpost collar, Thompson 50mm 4x stem, Gussett seatpost, carbon bars cut somewhere around 800mm( TBC). No pedals included but I will provide a scabby set of flats if you’re desperate, gratis.

Priced to sell quickly at £950 collected from South Wales area, demo rides most welcome. I’m not interested in splitting at this stage but let me know if any parts are of interest. I am willing to box and ship through the post, I’ll have to price this up as I haven’t done so for a while, buyer to cover the cost.
