2016 Santa Cruz 5010, Medium

It's time sell my 5010 as it doesn't get ridden as much now that I've bought another bike. This is the perfect bike for somebody that wants all the high $$ parts but is on a budget. As the title suggests, this is a 2016 Santa Cruz 5010 that I purchased as a frameset in February 2016 from Backcountry. The bike has definitely been ridden but never raced or abused. It does have some paint chips and scratches like most used mountain bikes and you can see them in the photos. One of the chips is down to the carbon but I had it checked out by The Path Bike shop in Tustin and the Santa Cruz reps at a demo day and it's just a paint chip and there is no carbon damage. Pretty much all the scratches and other damage occurred when I fell over on a Sedona trip (in October 2016) into a pile of rocks after get stuck in my pedal clips as I came to a stop. You could literally put a 1" sticker over it and it would no longer exist. That being said, I have no desire to be dishonest and try and hide it either. It's unfortunate but a non-issue as far as how it effects the bikes quality ride.

I have this bike listed on the very low end of comparable bikes I found online and most of them don't have carbon wheels or a 2018 drivetrain like my bike does. The NOX Farlow wheels are from 2015 and obviously have 3+ years of use so you can expect them to be nicked up from rock strikes like any used carbon wheels. I had them built up on brand new Hope Pro4 hubs earlier this year. the GX Eagle drivetrain (with XO carbo crankset) has less than 100 miles on it and runs flawless. The Reverb seat post had a WolfTooth lever installed this year as well. It really comes down to this, if you are the type of rider who can live with the ONE paint chip flaw, this is a screaming deal. Good luck finding any top end carbon bike with carbon wheels, an Eagle drivetrain, a carbon ENVE bar and King headset for $3200.
