2013 Felt Edict 9 LTD full carbon full suspension

29er Felt Edict 9 LTD full suspension full carbon fibre frame. Top of the range nano carbon construction frame in size small.
Bought new old stock 2017 and lightly ridden on the road only. No off road so frame is in excellent condition.
Comes with a headset & BB rear mech hanger fitted.
Frame will have unavoidable superficial fitting & removal marking as a result of the bike build strip down procedure.
Full inspection welcomed.

Featuring the Felt FAST suspension platform—designed specifically for World Cup-level performance and speed—and 29 inch wheels. The 2013 Edict Nine LTD has changed the rules of XC racing.
The frame, made from UHC Ultimate+Nano carbon fiber, is an engineering marvel that was years in the making.
Frame: Ultimate Plus Nano carbon, 100-mm front and rear travel, FAST pivot less suspension, standard quick release rear dropouts.
The Felt Edict frame utilizes the new Formula One technology for molding, which minimizes the under cut profiles in order to put as much of its carbon fiber frame as perfect as possible.
They use term Convex design for this and its easily seen in the tapered head tube, and near the bottom bracket where the stress is so high.
A few other details with their high-tec carbon, Felt describes that its designers chose to use woven carbon fabric inside and out on the frame for impact protection, saying that this type of fiber
will transfer shock to a wider area than the uni directional material does. So they used both 3K and 5K carbon inside and outside the down tube and on the top tube where the brake levers hit
against the carbon frame in a crash.
Frame is woven carbon using their “inside out” construction which uses a removable polyurethane bladder to keep the tubes smooth inside, yielding a stronger frame
All fasteners are titanium on the LTD, with sealed cartridge bearings. The front derailleur cable runs internally. The rear shift cable runs externally with full length housing.
reducing entry points for dust and crud into the frame and minimize holes in the frame, which can potentially be weak points.
