One owner. Never beaten or abused. In total it only has a few seasons worth of riding on it. Still has the original tires with tons of tread left. It's been an absolutely awesome bike, but has been hanging up in the garage the last several years. Married with kids, no time to ride, it's time to let it go. Always stored indoors and hand-cleaned, never left out in the rain or hosed down.

History (receipts/records available):
April 2011 - Purchased bike new and installed Fox Van 36 Fit RC2 fork
May 2014 - Fork and shock serviced by Fox Racing in California (no issues, just regular maintenance/overhaul)
June 2014 - Had local Trek dealer completely tear down and service the entire bike (wasn't needed, I'm just particular with maintenance)
June 2014 - Chain-stay replaced by Trek under warranty (which is why it's black)
July 2014 - Installed KindShock post and Scarab pedals

Upgraded components, all purchased brand new:
Fox Vanilla 36 FIT RC2 front fork (2011 model)
KindShock KS Supernatural-R lever-actuated seat post (works great, but will need to be serviced eventually)
Chromag Scarab platform pedals
Troy Lee Designs (TLD) locking grips
Comes with a spare set of new brake pads

If you're not familiar with the Scratch, it's the best blend of all-mountain/freeride I've seen. It goes uphill as well as it goes downhill, and can take anything you can throw at it. The one quote that sums it up the best: "The Scratch is the ONE BIKE you will ever need if you can have only one." Matt Patt from VitalMB

I also will be posting a like-new Kali full face helmet, Alpinestars shin-guards, some pumps, and some other accessories, when I get a chance.
