You’ve got to try the Specialized Turbo in order to understand how pedal assist enhances every aspect of riding - absolutely quiet magnetic motor flattens out the ups and downs of the road - even Pelham’s Sailors’ Hill aka Effingham Hill 2000m long at 4.6% average and 14.8%max. Keep in mind pedal assist doesn’t have a throttle, it is meant to enhance your own physical efforts. The Turbo has an infinite Turbo boost selection over its 0% to 100% range. I’ve been able to push the speed up to 45kph on the flats on occasion (my energy level). The bike’s range is around 80km although I’ve nursed it to 100km. The bike was bought and has been maintained at Liberty Bicycle in St Catharines. I’m selling my Turbo in order to get on the list for the new Specialized Creo coming out next April ($8000 - $14000).
Don’t hesitate to get in touch with me to give the Turbo a try. This bike is a Large - I’m about 6 feet tall - probably good for 5’9” to 6’2” depending on leg length.
It’s got 993km on it.
