2018 Cannondale Jekyll 3 Carbon - Size Medium

This is an absolute riot of a bike, 165mm of travel, super short chainstays, geo for charging and yet really playful too. It's mega and its up for sale.

This one has seen a fair bit of action but also a lot of love and is in good condition, regularly serviced in the bike shop at which I worked. I've tried to show the majority of the aesthetic wear and tear in the photographs which were taken for this sale (i.e. the bike is as pictured)

These originally sold for £3400 and have recently being going out in sales at about £2500 - mine features a number of spec upgrades and so the price I am offering is a good deal.

Specification

- Frame All-New Jekyll, 165mm travel, BallisTec Carbon front triangle, SmartForm C1 Alloy swingarm, carbon shock link, Ai offset drivetrain, ISCG05, PF30, flat mount brake, tapered headtube.

- Fork Fox Float 36 Performance, 27.5, 170mm, 110x15QR, tapered steerer, 44mm offset

- Rear Shock Fox Float Performance DPS EVOL w/ Gemini remote-actuated dual mode air spring system, Flow Mode - 165mm / Hustle Mode - 130mm - I don't have the lever for the shock so it is in it's default 165mm mode. These can be purchased separately and are an easy fit however your not missing out on much (i ran it almost always in 165mm). Pre sale the shock was rebuilt with new internal parts by Sprung suspension in the forest of dean.

- Wheelset: Stans flow mk3. My favourite wheels and a massive upgrade on the stock set. These retail at £519, they're light strong and have fairly quick engagement. The rear rim is also brand new never ridden.

- Tyres Maxxis Minion DHF 27.5x2.5" front, DHR II 2.4". 3C on the front, rear is dual compound. Awesome tyre combo. Front is set up tubeless but needs a top up of sealant, rear currently has tube in (since new rim) but will set up tubeless easily (Stan's rims isn't it). Both have decent life left in the tread. I also have a pair of Shorty's I can throw in if you like (they are fantastic for UK winters)

- Pedals DMR V6. These i had spare, they're pretty hammered to be honest but they make the bike work! You've already got some pedals though don't you? yeah, cool.

- Absolute black chain ring. These seem to be pretty hardwearing and theres a fair bit of life left in this one. It's oval and has 30ish teeth. Don't worry if your sceptical about oval rings, the effect is subtle enough to ignore but you may find you like it - I'm sure it gave me slightly more climbing traction and feels more round if anything when sprinting.

- Bottom Bracket Cannondale Alloy PressFit30

- Chain Sram (not the most basic 12 speed one but the next one up - better corrosion resistance)

- SRAM XG1275 10-50t

- Rear Derailleur SRAM GX Eagle

- Shifters Sram GX Eagle

- Handlebar Cannondale C3 Riser, 6061 Alloy, 15mm rise, 4° up, 9° back, 31.8, 780mm

- Grips Deity Knuckle-duster - brand new

- Stem Cannondale C3, 6061 Alloy, 1-1/8", 31.8, 0°, 35mm

- Headset Integrated, 1-1/8 to 1.5", sealed angular contact bearings

- Brakes Shimano XT Twinpot (M8020) - great brakes, powerful and not too grabby. Rear may benefit from a bleed but they are largely working well

- Saddle Fabric Radius Scoop

- Seatpost Rockshox reverb. I have never serviced this seatpost. I just never got round to it. It works consistently but goes up very slowly, this never bothered me enough to have it serviced.

Any questions please fire away, i'll do my best to answer.
