2020 Bike builder/mechanic for manufacturer

We are looking for a full time mechanic/bike builder. Here's the details.

Position Summary:
Growler Performance Bikes is searching for a Bicycle Assembly/Mechanic to be a part of team in the Rochester, NY facility. You will join a passionate and fast-paced team that has a solid commitment to excellence in quality bike assembly.

Flexible hours. No weekends. Estimated 30-40 hours per week, potentially more depending on time of year.

We are looking for someone who works well in a technical position and is looking for a long-term career in the bike industry. 2+ years of bike mechanic experience is required for this role. If you are a fast learner, like working with your hands and are always looking for ways to improve processes, we would be stoked to talk about this role with you.

Qualifications:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, additional qualifications, and/or ability required.

-Must have 2 years of mechanic experience in a shop or similar setting in the bike industry.
-Experience working with Fat Bikes, Mountain Bikes, and Gravel Bikes
-Must be familiar with Sram and Shimano drivetrain, brakes, and related parts.
-Ability to build wheels is a plus.
-Experience with Bosch and Shimano Steps is a plus.
-Must be a team player.
-Must maintain a clean and safe work environment
