1984 Pinarello Montello SLX

This is a rare 1984 Pinarello Montello. The frame is an absolute classic, Columbus SLX with chromed fork and rear triangle in the traditional Italian style of the day. Seat tube is 51 cm center-to-center, top tube 52 cm. The frame was recently repainted using the exact same color as the original. The chrome is in excellent condition for its age with very minor pitting around the bottom bracket and under the fork crown.

I rebuilt the bike with new components, featuring a modern Shimano 7-speed SIS group (RX100 and 600 mix); new Ambrosio 40 cm handlebar; Cinelli 100 mm quill stem; Campagnolo Centaur seatpost; and a gorgeous brand new San Marco Regal seat. Wheels are tubular Mavic GL-330 laced to Super smooth Campagnolo Record hubs. They spin forever!

Pedals and frame pump are not included. I will not ship this bike but I can deliver it within reasonable driving distance from Ottawa. Local pick up is welcome.
