2011 Trek Scratch Air 8

Up for sale is my 2011 Trek Scratch. It is in good shape. There are no issues with the bike other than the usual wear and tear resulting in scratches and dings. The wheels are in perfect condition. No wobbles at all. Take a look at the pictures for details and let me know if you want any other specific ones.

The bike is stock except for the fork, brakes, stem and rear tire. The fork is a 2014 Fox Talas 180 that was just serviced by Fox last fall. In case you aren't familiar with Talas, it is the travel adjust version of the float air spring. With a flip of the lever this fork goes from 180mm travel to 140mm. Makes this bike very peddlable up long climbs. The brakes are Hayes Prime Pro with a 200mm front and 180mm rear discs. The stem is a Race Face Atlas that is shorter than stock. I am including the original fork that I have found to be useful when the Talas needed to be serviced.

This was a great enduro/light park bike. It has a lot of miles on it and to be honest the drivetrain is a bit worn and dated. If I were to keep the bike, I would convert it to a 1x12 and maybe upgrade the wheels to something lighter. Or maybe do a 26+ enduro. It has lots of potential, but I have just moved on to bikepacking and cyclocross.
