Light, agile, nimble, responsive, precise, a great climber as wheel is right under the seat, still competitive, with this bike weighing in at 24 pounds with pedals. As an XC race bike, and normal XC riding it is awesome; there is absolutely no pedal bob when in and out of saddle on the climbs, and it gets excellent traction on the climbs, descends with confidence.
The strength lies in the fact that the rear end feels as though it does nothing, but is in fact soaking up the big hits and vibration, making the ride less tiring.
