Race Face Next SL G4 cranks combine CINCH versatility and compatibility with an improved arm profile that integrates with Next Direct Mount composite spiders and rings. G4 drops some of the weight while improving on stiffness. Stiffness is the key advantage here because 1x systems tend to put chains under high tension at extreme angles. Beyond being light and stiff, CINCH compatibility also adds a bit of futureproofing.
