2017 Nicolai Ion 27.5 160mm

Here we have my Nicolai Ion 16. The last of the ions before they changed to the love/hate geolution geometry.

The frame is in good condition. Frame is 2017 I believe. so will still have at least a year left on warranty which is transferable

Lovely anodized blue frame with blue extralove kit.

The seat stay is powdercoated white and is a nice contrast

The frame comes with a top notch Cane creek double barrel air which has had a slick black shaft installed. I can include the original with the sale.

Included in the sale is a works 1deg reducer headset. This means that this frame in the low setting has a 64.5 degree and 65.5 degree in the high setting

The frame has no dents or cracks. The frame has a few little cable rubs and some scratches on the anodizing...but the anodizing is pretty hard wearing. the white powder coat on the swing arm shows a bit more scratches especially from mud being dragged around the tyre. The pictures show all the little marks so be sure to study them carefully.

The shock is working fine but could probably do with a service very soon as it was last done about a year ago.

The lower bearing in the headset is starting to feel a little gritty but not noticeable when riding.. there is no play in the bearing

the last picture shows the geometry chart. However I would say it will be good for anyone 170-185cm.

Postage price takes into account the sale price of the frame as it will be fully insured

I have a work component top cap and a mech hanger that I used as a spare ( it was bent but has been straightened, so will get you home so to speak) that I will include in the sale, as well as some volume spacers for the cane creek shock.
