2018 SCOTT genius

This bike is ace and blurs the lines between 'trail' and enduro.. with this spec its more than capable of enduro racing. Its light, peddles extremely well and decends like a mini DH bike. The flip chip in the rear shock drops the BB and slackens the head angle to create a more gravity orientated geometry.. But even in the high setting its still mega for all round riding. I'll be very sad to see it go. Reason for sale is that I've pursued a 'downduro' project.

Scott genius 2018 aluminium size large. Capable of running 27.5 or 29inch wheels, currently on 27.5.

80% custom built with only the wheels and dropper post being standard parts, everything else has been upgraded.

150mm rear travel via Rockshox super deluxe RCT with 'MEGNEG' Air can upgrade, Super plush, absolutely changed the bike. Incredibly supple off the top and much greater mid stroke support. (With lockout lever). Shock has been modified to fit the frame, more on that to anyone interested via PM.

Fox 36 performance elite which is basically the factory fork minus kashima. 160mm travel with open/medium/firm modes plus low speed compression and rebound adjustment. Recent lower leg service, excellent fork with no marks at all.

Race face 35mm dia. Bar and stem 780mm wide. Brand new with burgtec grips.

1 x 10 SLX gearing with 32 thick thin ring up front and 11-42t cassette out back. Peddle up owt.

Custom brakes; XTR levers with saint lines and Zee calipers.. I'm not joking when I say these brakes are incredible, they're only biting on 160mm discs but christ you really don't need any bigger, these things are POWERFUL. New pads yesterday and fully bled up. Feel solid.

Syncros tofino narrow saddle and syncros 150mm dropper post, works perfectly and never had an issue.

Zee 165mm cranks modified to fit the frame as they're DH width but the wider stance feel much more stable. DMR v12 peddles. Paints worn but all pins present and regreased for sale.

Syncros boost wheelset 27.5, 30mm internal width rims for Plus tyres up to 2.8 on shimano hubs. Onza tubeless tyres with Ethirteen valves.
